We are a state institution under supervision of the Minister of Welfare, taking part in realization of the social policy of the state in the field of social services and social assistance.

We control State budget resources provided for social assistance and social rehabilitation services; coordinate provision of State social care and social rehabilitation services; and control and evaluate the quality of social services and the conformity of social service providers to the requirements specified in regulatory enactments.

In addition, we summarize and analyze statistic data about social services and social assistance, which is necessary for monitoring of social services and social assistance policies; as well as we provide informative and methodological assistance in the field of social services and social assistance to municipalities and social services providers.
